Devika has a square piece of cloth of area 9m square and she wants to make 16 square-shaped scarves of equal size out of it.what should possibly be the length of the side of the scarf that can be made out of this piece?

area of cloth= 9*9=81 sq.m
area  of 1 scarf=81/16=5.0625
length of 1 scarf = root of 5.0625=2.25m
