Area of cloth = 16m²

side × side = 16m²

side² = 16m²

→ side = \bold{\sqrt{{16m}^{2}}}

→ side = \bold{\sqrt{4 \times 4 \times m \times m}}

side = 4m

Length of side of cloth is 4m

 \textbf{Let the side of the square = x}

 \textbf{Area of square} = (x²) = 9 m²

\mapsto16 (x²) = 9m²

\mapstox² = \sf\dfrac{9}{16}

\mapstox = \sf\sqrt{\frac{9}{16}}

\mapstox = \sf\dfrac{3}{4}m

\mapsto\fbox{x = 0.75 m}
