Take 2 beakers and labelled one "A" and the other one "B"
Procedure: Put organic waste in beaker A and plastic waste in beaker B. Now put some soil in both of the beakers and keep them open in the air. After 20-25 days, observe the activity.
Result: You will see that the organic waste has changed its color and become darker and smellier which justifies the microbial activity whereas in beaker B, the plastic will be exactly the way it was placed. There will no particular smell or change in this beaker.
