once there lived an old woman in a cottage in a small village. she was very greedy. she had a beautiful white goose in her house which laid one golden egg everyday. the woman sold those eggs into the market and earned money from it. one day she thought that there might be hundreds of golden eggs in its stomach. If she could get all the eggs, she would be rich.

Then she took the goose and killed it but she found only one golden egg. She was disappointed. She had lost what she had.
