Answer:

Rs.42000

Step-by-step explanation:

SP for Nilash = Rs.35910

Profit = 12.5%

=> (100+12.5)% of C.P. = 35910

=> 112.5% of C.P. = 35910

=> 1125/1000 × C.P. = 35910

=> C.P. for Nilash = Rs.31920

Overhead charges = Rs.1680

Hence, initial CP for Nilash = Rs.(31920-1680) = Rs.30240

SP for Dhananjay = Rs.30240

Loss = 28%

=> (100-28)% of C.P. = 30240

=> 72% of C.P. = 30240

=> 72/100 × C.P. = 30240

=> C.P. = Rs.42000
