Given : Dharma argued with varma that "The number of sides is equal to number of axes of symmetry".

varma said it is wrong

To Find :   Who is correct

Solution:

"The number of sides is equal to number of axes of symmetry".

This is a wrong statement

There is no direct relation between  number of sides and  number of axes of symmetry

A scalene triangle has three sides but no axis of symmetry

While isosceles triangle and equilateral triangle has symmetry

Hence no relation between  number of sides and  number of axes of symmetry

So Dharma  is Wrong  and Varma is correct
