Dheeraj has decided to walk a fixed distance on a treadmill. First day he works at a certain speed. Next day he increases his speed by one kilometre per hour and takes 6 minutes less. If he reduces the speed by one kilometre per hour he takes 9 minutes more. what is the fixed distance that he walks everyday​

Let the distance he need to travel be x km

v×t=x be equation 1

Next day speed increases by 1km/hr time decreases by 6min

speed =v+1; time= t-(1÷10)

(v+1)×(t-(1÷10))=x be equation 2

next case

(v-1)×(t+(3÷20))=x be equation 3

There are three equations and three variables on solving them we can get all the required values.
