For Manoj,

Final salary = Rs 5200

Initial salary = Rs 4000

Increment = Rs 5200 - Rs 4000 = Rs 1200

This increment was made in 6 months

So increment per month = Rs 1200/6 = Rs 200

Therefor the increment for Manoj was greater
