Diabetes is a disease that occurs when the body cannot regulate levels of blood sugar. People with diabetes must use devices to monitor blood-sugar levels. Imagine you are in a medical setting and talking to a young patient who was recently diagnosed with diabetes. Describe to the patient, in detail, how sugar enters a person's bloodstream.
