Given length ( l ) = 12 cm
Diagonal ( d ) = 13 cm
Let breadth = b cm
b² = d² - l²
=> b² = 13² - 12²
=> b² = ( 13 + 12 )( 13 - 12 )
=> b² = 25
=> b = √25
=> b = 5 cm

Let the width of the triangle be "x"
By Pythagorean theorem
(13) ^2=(12) ^2+x^2
169=144+x^2
169-144=x^2
25=x^2
x=√25
x=5
Therefore width=5
