 diagonal = 4 \sqrt{2} cm \ \\ let \: each \: side \: be \: a \\ then \\   \sqrt{a {}^{2}  +a {}^{2} }   = 4 \sqrt{2}  \\ ( \sqrt{2a {}^{2} } ) {}^{2}  = (4 \sqrt{2} ) {}^{2} ......squaring \: both \: sides \\ 2a {}^{2}  = 32 \\ a {}^{2}  = 32 \div 2 \\ a {}^{2}  = 16 \\ a =  \sqrt{16}  \\ a = 4cm
