to prove :

PQ / QR = SP /RS

i.e, ∆ PQS similar ∆ QRS

GIVEN : PQRS is a square and diagonal QS bisects Angle Q and S

PROOF

in ∆ PQS and ∆ QRS

QS is common in both

SP = SR

PQ = QR

so ∆ PQS similar ∆ QRS

therefor;

PQ / QR = SP / RS

PQ / QR = SP / RS [ by BPT ]
