first we congruent the two triangles abc and abd in rectangle abcd....
by sas they will become congruent...
So then by cpct ,diagonal BD = diagonal AC
or we know that rectangle is a parallelogram also....the one of the property of parallelogram....that its diagonals bisect each other...

BD=AC we roved it first...at all
AC=OA+OC (oa=oc using 1)
AC=OA+OA=3+3=6cm
AC=BD=6cm.....
