∆ABC and ∆ADC area of ∆ABC = 1/2 × AC ×h = 1/2 x 15 x 3 = 7.5 x 3 = 22.5 sq cm

area of ∆ADC = 1/2 × AC × h = 1/2 x 15 x 5 = 7.5 x 5 = 37.5 sq cm

area of quadrilateral ∆BCD = ar ∆ABC = 22.5 + 37.5 = 60 sq cm
