Given :- Diagonals of a rectangle PQRS intersect each other at point 'O' . If length of diagonal PR is 11 cm then find l (OS ) = ?*

1) 11 cm

2) 5.5 cm

3) 22 cm

4) 5 cm

Answer :-

we know that,

  • Diagonals of a rectangle are equal .

so,

→ QS = PR

→ QS = 11 cm.

we also know that,

  • Diagonals of a rectangle bisect each other .

then,

→ OS = (1/2) of QS

→ OS = 11/2

→ OS = 5.5 cm. (2) (Ans.)
