Diagonals of a rhombus are 48cm and 14cm find the perimeter

Hey there!

Given,

D₁ = 48 cm

D₂ = 14 cm

OA = 1/2 * D₁ = 1/2 * 48 = 24 cm

OB = 1/2* D₂ = 1/2 * 14 = 7 cm

Now,

From Pythagoras theorem,

AB² = OA² + OB²

AB² = (24)² + 7²

AB = √(576 + 49)

AB = √625

AB = 25 cm

Now,

Perimeter of Rhombus = side² = AB² = (25)² = 625 m
