The life cycle of silk moth is completed in four stages:

• Eggs: -A female moth lays nearly 500 eggs on a green mulberry leaves.

• Larvae or Caterpillars:-After few days, the eggs hatched into larvae or caterpillars. The larvae feed themselves on mulberry leaves day and night .By that time they grow into big caterpillars called the silk worm.

• Cocoon with pupa with in:-Cocoon is covering of thin threads that the Caterpillar make to protect itself before becoming adult.

• Adult-winged moth:-It is a stage in which pupa inside the cocoon develops into a moth with antennae and wings.
