Answer:
Once an old man, Murthy, went to a lawyer for justice. The following is a conversation between the two.
Murthy: Sir, you have to help with my situation. I have come all the way from my village to seek advice from you.
Lawyer: Of course, that is what lawyers are for.
Murthy: My neighbour has a rooster and I have a hen. We got them married last year. But I had a big fight with my neighbour and now we want a divorce for the hen and the rooster.
Lawyer (confused and shocked): Umm...Ah well..(gropes for words)
Murthy: Oh don't worry. I will pay you for your services.
Lawyer (still shocked): Oh that's nice. But I have never handled such cases before.
Murthy: Oh but everybody said you are the most experereinced lawyer in town.
Lawyer (slowly coming to senses): Ok when did the marriage take place?
Murthy: Oh that was January 1st, 2018.
Lawyer (with mischievous smile): Ok do one thing. Come again in a month with a photograph of the wedding, three witnesses and a copy of the marriage certificate. I will certainly apply for the divorce.
Murthy: Oh but we don't have a marriage certificate!!
Lawyer: Then a divorce cannot happen. So you can go back and ask the hen and the rooster to make peace and live happily ever after.
A disappointed Murthy left the office back to his village.
