You: Good morning Doctor! I have come here to participate in the blood donation drive.
Doctor: That is a good decision. Blood donation is a noble act.
You: It is my first time and I am a little apprehensive.
Doctor: Oh! There is nothing to worry about. It is a short and safe procedure in which blood is drawn out and collected in sterile bags.
You: But, will I feel weak and will the blood not get spoiled?
Doctor: not at all! It does not take a healthy person much time to make blood cells. We keep the collected blood under refrigeration at the required temperature to preserve it. Blood donation helps save many lives.
