A. do you beleive in superstitions?
B. yeah I beleive in superstitions.
A. Superstitions are time wastage. My parents also beleive in superstitions. It was yesterday when my sister sneezed and I wasn't allowed to go outside for 2 minutes just because of their superstitious minds. Why do you beleive in such things?
B. I' ll tell you why i beleive in superstitions, about 3 years back I also didn't beleive in such things but I read an article - superstition can help give us a sense of control over our lives and even boost our confidence.Being superstitious can provide fast and meaningful psychological benefits. It decreases feelings of helplessness, while increasing confidence and initiative. We can do many things to try to make things work out well, but where there is a random factor, superstition may help fill the gap and give us a sense of control - even if it is just an illusion of control. After reading this I thought that maybe by being superstitious there can be benefits, there are no harms in being superstitious, right?
A. Maybe you are right but these things are just fake, these lucky charms, and all I will not beleive in such things. You just have to be a nice person in your life and your life will automatically become happy, you don't need to beleive such things.
B. Yeah I think you are right, i' ll do more research in this and I will tell you. Anyways, I was heading to canteen. wanna join?
A. yeah sure, but pls look into this matter as many people are becoming psychos by being superstitious.
B. yeah sure my friend.
