Dialogue between farmer and soldier:
Farmer: Namaste Naik Rohan! How are you? You have come on a holiday to the village?
Naik (Soldier): Namaste Bhimsen Kaka! How have you been. Yes, i have come for my holidays.
Farmer: That's nice. Your mother and sister must be happy to see you. They constantly worry for you when you are not here with them.
Soldier: I understand Kaka. But it is my duty. I took this profession as I wanted to serve my nation. I feel proud when I am guarding the borders and protecting my nation against enemies
Farmer: Yes son. It is people like you that we common man are able to sleep peacefully in our homes. I am really proud of you. Wish I had a son, I would have enrolled him in the Army
Soldier: Who says only we serve the nation. Kaka, your profession is no less notable and vital to our nation. Farmers are the backbone of our society. They are the ones who provide us all the food which is a necessity to survive. In addition, farmers also contribute nearly 17 per cent of the Indian economy. That is the maximum of all.
Farmer: Hmmm,. But a soldier is greater than a farmer. To his motherland, a soldier courageously sacrifices his life. He has to stay thousands of kilometers from his home. He goes into the jaws of death as he defends his country. His life is not a bed of roses; it is a bed of thorns. Defending the nation is important to him in his tasks and responsibilities
Soldier: No Kaka. Both Farmers and soldier are important and play equally important roles. We can never say one is better than the other. We both ae proud of our professions and we must continue doing our good job of serving the nation
Farmer: you right son! God bless you always. I must leave now to the field. Jai Hind!
Soldier: Namaste and Jai Hind Kaka!
