• Me: Hello Kajal, how are you doing?
• Kajal: I am doing great. What about you?
• Me: me too. Hey, have you heard  the story about "The Selfish Giant?"
• Kajal: Yes. I heard this name from my mother. But I don't remember the full story. Do you know the story?
• Me: Yes, I know:
• Kajal: Can you please tell me the story?
• Me: Yes, of course. Once there was a selfish giant. He had a very beautiful garden in front of the place where he lived. once, He went to his friend's house to stay. he stayed there for 7 years. In the meantime, children came to play in the garden after school
• Me: Then one day when the giant came back, he noticed the children playing in his garden
• Kajal: Then?
• Kajal: Was he angry after seeing them?
• Me: Yes, this made him angry and he drove them away
• Kajal: Then what did he do?
• Me: He built a huge wall around the garden to stop the children from entering it. So the children could not play
• Kajal: He was very selfish.

• Me: Then the garden became lifeless without any flowers or birds. Though it was spring at that time, winter continued to prevail in the garden.

• Me: Then one day he could hear the chirping of birds and looked out of the window.
• Me. He saw that children were playing in the garden which was full of flowers again.
• Kajal: What did he do then?
• Me: He comes out of his castle into the garden and seeing him coming, the children ran away. the garden turned into winter again. He could realize the matter and felt sad.

• Me: Then he allowed the children to enter into it and play freely. The garden got filled with colorful flowers. And hence the giant and the children became close friends.
