Mohan: Hi Sumanth. What's up?
Sumanth: Hello Mohan. Don't you know that today we are celebrating Independence day?
Mohan: Yes, I know that. It's very mean that they are not giving holiday today. Why are they wasting our time in celebrating this day?
Sumanth: No, it's not at all mean. But they are trying to build patriotism in our students for knowing the value of our country's independence.
Mohan: What's all that stuff? It doesn't fit in my mind.
Sumanth: Did you ever wish to become a slave for a nation?
Mohan: No, I will never be a slave to anyone. Instead I will resist the people who want me to become as a slave.
Sumanth: During the British ruling period, Indians were treated badly than slaves. If they would not fight, we would be as their till now.
Mohan: You're right. Now I understood that remembering the sacrifice of freedom fighters is important.
Sumanth: Not only remembering them, we should also celebrate our happiness.
Mohan: Our National Anthem and national flag are building patriotism in me. I will never forget their sacrifice for us. They inspire us a lot.
Sumanth: You have understood me very fastly.
Mohan: Thank you Sumanth for telling me the importance of this day.
Mohan: You're most welcome. Let's participate in our school Independence day celebrations.
Sumanth: Let's go fast. Time is running up.
