Dialogue between two friends about taking major subject:

Arun: Hey Febin. Why do you look gloomy today?

Febin: it’s nothing, but an issue with my parents about taking my major subject.

Arun: What are you planning to take as your major subject?

Febin: I wanted to take Commerce as my major one, so that I can take an MBA. But my parents want me to take graduation in Physics so that I would become a Professor. But I have no interest in that profession.

Arun: Tell your parents about your interest. This is a field where you are the one, most eligible to take a decision.  Even if you go by the decisions of your parents, you will not find the job interesting and you cannot contribute your maximum to the job.

Febin: I know that but my parents are not agreeing with me.

By the way, what are you opting for?

Arun: I am doing a one year course for medical admission. I have planned to join Brilliant Coaching Centre. But my parents are willing to my decision. They are the ones who stood in front to leave me for coaching. That doesn’t mean everything is up to my decision. But at times, they feel mine is the best decision. Just tell your parents once again about your decision. I’ll tell them too. Let’s see whether that works or not.

Febin: Yeah I’ll tell them once again.
