Tell them how much you appreciate that they took the time to listen to you and to get to know your friends better. Let your parents know that your relationship with your friends is important to you but you don't want it to strain your relationship with them. Take on more duties around the house.

Pair your friend with a friend your mom likes.

1. Try cooking something new with your friends. Talk with your friends about something tasty they might want to make.  

2. Go shopping with your friends. If you don't have money, try window browsing, or ask your mom for some money.

3. Have a movie night with your friends
