Visualize them.

What would their voices sound like? What would they be thinking about? What would their shared experiences be?

Think of each item as a character— a cartoon character if you like.

How do the characters perceive the fridge? Is it a prison? A temple? A factory? A School? A Dormitory? What's with the light going on and off when the door's opened and closed.
