Dialogue writing between senior and fresher about university life

First Friend: How is your first day at college?

Second Friend: Exceptionally wonderful! At college we have

so much of freedom!

First Friend: Hmm! I am also wondering at the same! College

life and school life are poles apart. At school we predominantly used to sit in

the same class. However, here we have to go to different classes.

Second Friend: Yes! I like it very much. Besides, there is

not so much of stress about jotting notes, maintaining note-books, etc. it is

all optional! At schools the teachers used to annoy us for maintaining

note-books meticulously.

First Friend: I have noticed one strange thing; I don’t know

whether you did or not!

Second Friend: What thing?

First Friend: Professors are not bothered about ensuring whether

we, the students have understood a concept or not! They teach at a fast pace. They

don’t enquire from students whether they understood or not!

Second Friend: I noticed it too. In fact I could not understand

quite many things during the English lecture; but I dared not ask the professor

to repeat as he seemed to be in a hurry to finish the lesson.

First Friend: Do you know my physics professor just taught

us quarter of the first chapter and asked us to complete the rest of the

chapter at home! I feel we are going to face a lot of trouble in the days to

come. We will have to shoulder the responsibility of teaching ourselves.

Second Friend: I agree with you. If the college life has its

brighter side; it also has its side.
