Dialogue writing between son and father regarding getting help in maths questions
Answers
Answer:
Son: Dad, I have a doubt in maths.
Father: Tell it ,son.
Son: "Draw a perpendicular line by using compass". I don't know how to do it.
Father: First draw a straight, horizontal line. Then three points equally spaced on the line.
Son: OK.
Father: Keep the compass needle on one of these points and extend the compass to a length that is more than the middle point but lesser than the last point.
Son: OK.
Father: Now draw a small arc above the middle point. Don"t increase or decrease the length of the compass and remember to keep the needle on the first point.
Son: Done.
Father: Now repeat this step by placing the needle on the last point. And when you draw the arc, intersect it with the other arc.
Son: OK.
Father: Put a point R where the two arcs intersect. Then draw a straight, vertical line through point R.
Son: Thank you, Dad!
