DIALOGUE WRITING Write a telephonic conversation of a complaint of power failure, in your locality for two days. The clerk will ask your name, address and connection no. Tell him about this. Request him to get it repaired soon. The clerk informs you that there is a major fault in the transformer and it will take one more day to repair it.​

Me: Hello, is this the power department I'm speaking to?

Clerk: Yes, sir. This is your local power department. How can I help you?

Me: Hey man, look. Here's the situation, our locality is facing a power failure. It's been two days since the power went off. We already once complained 'bout it, and no action was taken from your side. Look, it has started to bug the residents now. They're kinda getting outta control, man. You gotta do something before these angry-heads ambush your headquarters.

Clerk: Okie, sir. Hold on a lil'. I'll need some information before we act. Can you please tell me your name and your address.

Me: Yeah, for sure. The name is ______ and the address is ________.

Clerk: And what's your connection number, sir?

Me: It's ________.

Clerk: Alright. I'll just run up through my database to confirm your lD. And.. ok yeah, you're legit, good to go.

Me: How much time do you think it'll be to get the power runnin'?

Clerk: I'm afraid, sir. It's gonna take a while.. a day or two, maybe. Actually, the transformer is suspected to have a major fault.

Me: Okie, I understand. But please make sure it doesn't take more than two days, now.

Clerk: That's a given, sir. Don't worry, it won't take more than that.
