Diameter of a bangle is 7 cm. Thin strips of gold is to be fixed on this bangle, find the cost for it at the rate of Rs.100 per 1cm.

Circumference=πd
D=7cm
=22×7/7
=22cm
Cost = 22×100
=2200/-

Length of Thin strips of the


gold fixed on the bangle =


Circumference of the circle


= πd


= ( 22/7 ) × 7 cm


= 22 cm


Now ,


Cost of the gold fixing 1cm = Rs100


Cost of fixing 22cm = 100 × 22


= Rs 2200
