total distance to be covered=5.280km=5280m
radius=3/2
circumference of wheel=2πr=2×(22/7)×3/2
=66/7m
revolution=5280/(66/7)
=5280×7/66
480×7/6
=560
time taken to revolve for 560 revolution=560/28=20min

Solution :-

Diameter of a wheel, d= 3 m

Radius of the wheel, r= d/2= 3/2 = 1.5 m

The distance covered by the wheel in one revolution= 2×π×r= 2×22/7×1.5

= 66/7 m

The distance covered by the wheel in one minute= 28×66/7= 264 m

5.280 km= 5.280×1000=5280 m

Time taken to cover 5.280 km= 5280/264= 20 min

Time taken to cover 5.280 km= 20 min
