Diameter of a wheel of a car is 28cm. Find the distance covered by it by 5000 revolutions

Diameter of wheel car= 28cm

Radius= D/2 = 28/2 = 14cm


Distance covered by wheel in one revolution = Circumference of wheel = 2πr

= 2×22/7×14 = 44×2 = 88cm


DISTANCE COVERED BY WHEEL IN 1 REVOLUTION = 88 CM

THEREFORE,

DISTANCE COVERED BY WHEEL IN 5000 REVOLUTIONS = 5000×88 = 440000 cm²
