Answer:-

Given:-

  • Diameter of the base of a cone = 10.5cm

  • Slant height = 10cm

To find:-

  • The curved surface area

Solution:-

Curved surface area of cone = πrl

Radius (r) of the base of cone = (10.5/2)cm⇒5.25cm

Slant height (l) of cone = 10cm

Curved surface area of cone = πrl

⇒(22/7×5.25×10)cm²

⇒(22/7×525/100×10)cm²

⇒(22×75/100×10)cm²

165m²

Therefore, the curved surface area of the cone = 165m²

Answer:

Radius of the base of cone = diameter/ 2 = (10.5/2)cm = 5.25cm

Slant height of cone, say l = 10 cm

CSA of cone is = πrl

= (22/7)×5.25×10 = 165

Therefore, the curved surface area of the cone is 165 cm2.
