Answer:

Given :-

For cone :-

Diameter of cone = 10.5 cm

Diameter of cone = 10.5 cm Slant height or length = 10cm

As diameter of the cone is given then radius :-

 \rightarrow\mathrm{radius \:  =  \frac{diameter}{2} }

 \rightarrow\mathrm{radius \:  =  \frac{105}{2×10} }

 \rightarrow\mathrm{radius \:  =  \frac{105}{20} }

So,

\rightarrow\pink{\mathrm{The \: \:  formula \: \:  to \: \:  find \: \:  the \: \:  area \: \:  of \: \: a \: \: cone \: \:  is \: \:  兀 rl }}

Now, Area of cone :-

\purple{\rightarrow \mathrm{Area \:  = \pi \: rl}} \\  \\  \purple{\rightarrow \mathrm{Area \:  =  \cancel \frac{22}{7}  \times   \cancel\frac{105}{20}  \times \cancel 10}} \\  \\  \purple{\rightarrow \mathrm{Area \:  = 11 \times  15}} \\  \\  \purple{ \boxed{ \mathrm{Area \:  =165 \:  {cm}^{2} }}} \\  \\

Therefore, The area of the cone is 165 sq.cm .
