Diameter of the base of a
cone is 9.9 cm and its slant height
is 9 cm. Find its curved surface
area.​

Given :- diameter of base of a cone (D) = 9.9cm

:- slant height of a cone = 9cm

:- radius of cone = D/2 = 9.9/2 = 4.95 cm

to find:-. curved surface area of cone

solution:-

= curved surface area of cone = 2πr + πrl

=2×22/7 + 22/7×4.95×9

=6.28 + 3.14×4.95×9

=6.28 + 139.88

=146.16 cm*2

= curved surface of cone = 146.16 cm*2
