hey there,

I am meritkshitij here.

let's try to solve it

given,

diameter of the wheel = 56 cm

we know,

radius = diameter \div 2 = 56 \div 2 = 28cm
now,

distance travelled in 1 revolution = circumference of wheel

= 2πr

= 2 × 22/7 × 28 cm

=176 cm.

so,distance covered in 500 revolution = 500 × 176 cm

= 38000 cm

now,38000cm = 38000/100 m = 380 m = 380/1000km = 0.38 km Ans.

Thanks

vivek283: sir answer is showing 88000, 880 and 0.88

Answer:

diameter of the wheel = 56 cm

we know,

radius = diameter\2 = 56\2 = 28cm

distance travelled in 1 revolution = circumference of wheel

= 2πr

= 2 × 22/7 × 28 cm

=176 cm.

so,distance covered in 500 revolution = 500 × 176 cm

= 38000 cm

now,38000cm = 38000/100 m = 380 m = 380/1000km = 0.38 km
