Given ratio of diameter of two cylinders = 2:3
let diameter of one cylinder be 2d and the other be 3d
Therefore radius of one cylinder = 2d/2 and the other = 3d/2
Also let the height of one cylinder be h1 and the other be h2
Volume of cylinders are same
⇒ π(2d/2)²h1 = π(3d/2)²h2
h1/h2 = π(3d/2)²/π(2d/2)²
h1/h2 = 9d²/4d²
⇒ h1 : h2 = 9 :4
Ratio of height of the two cylinders = 9:4
