Hey diary,
Today was splendid,The drawing competition held in Bhavans school was really a competitive on . When i got up this morning i was too excited to do anything ma kept on telling me to take it easy , i quickly gathered my paint stuff and headed of to the car shed where pa was waiting in the car for me. He dropped me in Bhavans and went to his office. When i was walking in i found my teacher Sneha ma'am waiting with some kids and expecting for more. She asked us to report to the registration counter which had a huge line, we got our entry forms and we waited outside the auditorium for the competition to begin. The topic given to us was 'Going to school' which i thought to be very easy. When the competition  began all the contestants really worked out of their minds to get really creative. I ended up drawing a beautiful village in which some children were walking to school. When the results were out , i had been the 1st runner up, i was really happy because it was the first time i had shown my best work. Sneha ma'am was really proud of me and Ashok another boy winning 2nd runner up, she told us a little more hard work would let us win 1st prizes and then we were not so dissapointed for not bagging up the first three places. Pa came to pick me up and he congratulated me and after reaching home ma had really given me the surprise by cooking some of my favorite dishes . Then i sat with some of my social science assignment which has to be submitted the day after tomorrow we had a good dinner of tandoori chicken and parathas ( can be changed) no i am feeling sleepy diary , i want to doze and quickly get a long sleep after a hectic day

Participating artists were required to complete a painting of Wexford's Selskar Square in the time allowed. Since this was to be my first attempt at such an event I decided to spend some time planning my painting before the start time. I made some sketches and designs from various places around the square before choosing my location. Finding a good outlook I took shelter from the torrential rain in a restaurant doorway with a view down the square.
