Dear Dairy,

I am very happy today as I won a gold medal in the annual literacy English debate competition held in our school. When I was in the at the activity hall where the competition was going to be organised I was very much nervous by the performances given by my friends. When my turn was about to come I sighed and made up my mind that I will give my best in this debate. After that, I freely represented my views on the given topic. Judges were quite impressed by my speaking skills.

I had really worked very hard for it. And when I got the gold medal, I was the most happiest person in the world. My teachers were very happy. When I returned home, I showed my medal and certificate to my parents. They were overjoyed. I thanked my father a lot as he helped, encouraged and also motivated me for the competition.

Mother made my favourite dishes and I obviously enjoyed them.

I got a moral from this event of my life that the actual definition of success is the precious achievement which is got by hard work, self confidence and which gives you a pure and actual happiness. I hope this moral will act good and motivate me in the future also.
