Diary entry in suprise gift received by your parents on diwali

Friday

Today is Deepavali. Happy Diwali. Mom and I woke up early and made colourful rangolis and lit so many lamps in the corridor and in the balconies. We had guests coming over so we went to the temple and came back early. Mom made so many dishes and I helped her throughout. We also made arrangements for the evening pooja. Just then, the doorbell rang and there was a gift delivery. It was addressed to me. There was a card on top saying from Mummy and Daddy. I couldn't stop my excitement at receiving a surprise gift. I opened it immediately to see a huge set of encyclopedias from Webster. It had 5 books in it including the general encyclopedia, medical encyclopedia, thesaurus, Current affairs, and Did you know - Facts.

It was the best gift I had received lately. I am sure it is going to help me with my aptitude tests. Thanks, mom and dad for such a lovely surprise.

Dear Diary,

Few days prior it was Diwali and the best blessing I got was from my mom and dad. It was a surprise for me. It was a Nikon camera. It is red in shading. What's more, the case in which it is put away is likewise great. The principal picture which I clicked was of my family. I recollected that my dad guaranteed me to get me a spic and span camera. It records amazing video. I was so much cheerful when I got the surprise. I adored the surprise a considerable measure. I can't hold up to impart more about this camera to you, I will continue composing here about it with the photos.
