Dear Diary,
I had an amazing time today. My father has taken me to an animal rescue shelter to adopt a dog from there. We always wanted to adopt a dog that was abandoned. There were many dogs there of different ages. I played with so many of them and has such an amazing time. We have selected two stray pups, one male and the other female. We will be bringing them home tomorrow. From there we went to the pet shop to get required food, water and food bowls, etc. It was such an lovely experience. I will tell you again tomorrow after we bring the pups home.

Dear Diary,
We got the pups home last evening !!! It was so cool having the pups at home. I put the beds for the pups in my bedroom. I fed them food and played with them for a long time. I named them Asterix and Fiona. My friends came home to see them too. We took turns carrying and playing with them. I will keep writing about them everyday. Got to go now. Bye

Dear Diary,
I went to my Aunt's place for two days which is in Bengal to celebrate the festival of Durga Puja. I reached there on the seventh day of the Navratri. The city was totally drowned in the festive mood. I saw many idols of Goddess Durga in the pandals. The idols were huge and very beautifully made. The idols looked very realistic and were the point of attraction for everyone. I enjoyed very much during the Puja vacation.
