Dear Diary,
I am feeling quite relieved after serving so many people and helping them recover. Our neighbouring village has recently been flooded and everything has been destroyed. Considering the deplorable condition of the place, a flood relief camp was organised.
I got the privilege to be a part of the camp. Most of the villagers lost their house and remained without food and water for days. We dislocated all the villagers to a safe place, provided them food and clothing, and other medical help. The army personnel have also done a commendable job by providing assistance.
It was a disheartening sight to see so many people stranded without food and shelter. We tried our best to recover situations and provide a temporary place for them to stay.. The government has taken initiatives to rebuild houses for the poor. I hope things get better with time.
