Dear Diary:

I really felt very sorry for the boy who lost me while playing. He became so sad! He had developed a kind of attachment with me. He thought he would never lose me. He just kept looking behind me when I bounced down the wall into the water. I can’t make him understand the mystery of loss. All human beings have to learn to bear the losses and live with the pain. The sooner they learn the better. As they grow, they have to lose one thing after another. This is God’s law. I feel since beginning humans should be taught this law of loss and the wisdom to move on.
