Answer:

Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan, and Eid-ul-Adha, the bigger Eid, which occurs after the conclusion of the yearly Hajj journey at the time of Qurbani, are the two significant Eids (Celebration Festivals) in Islam (sacrifice).

Eid al-Adha, which translates to "Holiday of the Sacrifice" in Arabic and is also known as "d al-A," is the second and most significant of the two major festivals observed in Islam (the other being Eid al-Fitr). It celebrates Ibrahim's (Abraham's) readiness to carry out Allah's decree by offering his son Ismail (Ishmael) as a sacrifice. However, because Ibrahim was eager to offer his son as a sacrifice in the name of God, Allah gave him a lamb to sacrifice instead of his son before he could offer his own. Animals are sacrificed ritually as a reminder of this intervention. The family that donates the animal eats some of the meat, and the remaining portions are given to the destitute and underprivileged. In addition to seeing and welcoming extended family members, sweets and presents are frequently offered.  The Greater Eid is another name for the day.

Eid al-Adha, which lasts four days, occurs on the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah according to the Islamic lunar calendar. The Gregorian (international) calendar dates change annually, moving forward by around 11 days.
