Dear Diary,
Today, I had a very nice day, I got my pocket money and literally, I spent it in an appropriate way for the first time. I helped a needy, and I learnt a lesson from that. I was just going to the departmental store casually and suddenly I found a homeless kid of same age as mine. The poor helpless fellow begged me for help, "Well, my pocket money is important, as I get it after a complete whole month, and it's mine, I can't just waste it like that!", I thought. I wasn't sure if I was gonna do it or not but in the end, I realized that I couldn't say "No", as I knew it would be the death of humanity, anyways. So, I took the boy to the store with me, and I brought him some Nutella, juice and bread out of my pocket money. When I saw that boy's reaction, my heart spoke a different language. He was so happy and grateful that he hugged me and said, "Thank you so much, I completely lost my hope today, but then god sent you to me with his pure and kind intentions." I realized later, that I was wrong, completely wrong. My day wouldn't have lightened up this much if I hadn't helped him, I would have just eaten some junk food and returned home, but that boy gave me a priceless thing in return, that is, he taught me the meaning of happiness. I learned that doesn't come from what we get, it comes from what we give because things can't give us happiness, it comes from within. It was a beautiful day and as far as I know, I will never forget it.
