I had a great time celebrating Durga Puja in my hometown Kolkata. Everyday, there was a Puja dedicated to various forms of Goddess Devi in the temple near my house. There were many small stalls at the entrance. I enjoyed shopping in most of the shops, and treated myself to a lot of interesting stuff.
My cousins and I also burst a lot of crackers during these ten days. However, we took care not to burst the very noisy ones so that the elderly people will not be affected. Each day, we visited different neighbors to see the dolls display in their houses. We enjoyed singing bhajans both at home and in the temple.
