Dear Diary:
I am exceedingly panicked and worried these days on account of Coronavirus pandemic. Coronavirus is the latest epidemic that has broken out in the world jeopardizing the lives of human beings on the planet. The first case of a person infected with this virus was reported from Wuhan, China, on 31 December 2019.
The situation in China is quite critical; more than 20,000 people have been reported dead with this outbreak across the world. The disease is spreading to other countries. Situation in Iran and Italy is also very critical.
In India too, this disease is spreading fast. Approximately 650 people have been infected, 14 dead, and 41 people have recovered. The Indian Government announced Janta Curfew on March 22, 2020 to promote social distancing. Now, the Government has announced 21 day lockdown across the nation. Many emergency relief packages to help the poor and medical staff have been announced. I pray to God to contain and eradicate this epidemic from the face of earth.
