Dear Diary,
Today, I spent a wonderful day at the school library.
I went to school and learnt that the District Magistrate had declared a holiday because of the upcoming elections. There were some other teachers and students also who had come to school. We were all given the option of spending our day in the library or the audio-visual room as there would be no teaching! I stepped into the library to browse through some comic books. The same shelf had children's books by Roald Dahl and Ruskin Bond. I ended up spending the whole day reading gripping stories by these two authors. The imagination of Roald Dahl and the beauty of Ruskin Bond's narrative are unparalleled. I have become a big fan of their work and foresee myself spending many more hours reading their interesting books.
