Dear Dairy,
On, this Auspicious day Raksha Bandhan sister tie rakhi to their brother and raksha bandhan is an day where sister's promises to their brother that they will never leave them alone !!!
Once the thread, or rakhi, has been tied, the sister will say a prayer for her brother's well being, before the brother gives his sister a gift to symbolise his love.
Sisters tie Rakhi on the wrist of their brothers amid chanting of mantras, put roli and rice on his forehead and pray for his well-being. She bestows him with gifts and blessings. In turn, brothers also wish her a good life and pledges to take care of her. He gives her a return gift. The gift symbolizes the physical acceptance of her love, reminder of their togetherness and his pledge. Dear Diary, It was the glorious day for me. Today was Raksha Bandhan. i and my brother were eagerly waiting for this precious day. I had purchased a beautiful Rakhi for my brother and he liked that rakhi so much, after all it was my choice..hehe. He had given me a prettiest gift, a beautiful watch. i was so happy as it was of my favourite colour. it's really a great chance to thank your siblings for their work and to show their importance in the life. Brothers and sisters..the most purest relationship on Earth. i'm so lucky to have such brother! ok..going to sleep as i'm tired now:)
