Diary entry on time spent with my family

Dear Diary,
Today, I went on a picnic to the Hauz Khas ruins with my family. It was such an enjoyable experience, my cousins and I played badminton and cricket in the morning,then we had a delicious lunch of sandwiches and burgers that we had packed from home. The elders of the family also had a good time, participating in charades and antakshari. We also roamed around the ruins, taking in the rich historical legacy of the place.
It felt really good to catch a break from studies and to spend the whole day with my family. The day brightened when I saw my eighty-year old grandmother laughing and clapping her hands during antakshari. I think we should definitely try to make out more time for family and such lovely experiences.
